Programs Assistant


The Program Assistant will provide administrative, program and data management support to CLTCEC’s programs. This position requires the ability to read, comprehend and enter detailed information into the CLTCEC database for staff to access immediately.

Instructor (Part-time)


Instructs adult learners in a 10-week course covering a variety topics related to providing care to patients with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias. Class topics cover theoretical and practical skills that can be applied to the daily care of patients by homecare workers. A curriculum and teaching materials will be provided to the instructor. Experience teaching health-related skills is preferred, but not required.

Field Organizer – Level 1


The temporary position allows home care workers to gain experience in recruitment, education, and outreach using the CLTCEC model of organizing. As a Level I Field Organizer under the campaign, home care workers will learn recruitment skills and best practices. They will use this knowledge and training to disseminate information to other home care workers and IHSS consumers via outreach activities (such as door knocking, phone banking, and field events) and enroll IHSS consumer and provider pairs into the Program.

The Field Coordinator performs recruitment and class coordination for educational programs in Alameda County.

Home Care Program Manager (Full Time)


The Home Care Program Manager will support the Director of Home Care
Programs in leading the implementation of home care program goals. The Program Manager will supervise the recruitment team and administrative team as well as coordinate with the instruction team. The Program Manager will participate in the development of home care program strategic plans Our home care program goals are to provide educational opportunities as tools of empowerment for long-term care workers to build better lives, provide quality care and meet and invest in the critical needs of the long-term care workforce. The Program Manager will ensure that program deliverables are delivered on time and within budget.
